Learning through grace and love

Reflection: A thought occurring in consideration or meditation, to think deeply and carefully. I created this blog for a few different reasons but mostly for my own personal spiritual, emotional, and mental growth. I find it very helpful to type out my thoughts when processing through new ideas or exploring emotions. I also hope to encourage others on their journey as I think deeply and carefully about different topics relating to our every day lives as a Christian. This blog tells of my journey in counseling. I’m attempting to be honest about my experiences, to relay information that’s been very helpful to me, and to comment on current books, or speakers that I’ve been learning from. I am in no way claiming to be an expert. This is an attempt to be real about life experiences and an avenue by which loved ones can gain access into my mind and heart as I process life. My hope is that you will find comfort in knowing that you are not alone in this journey and I warmly welcome fellow travelers as we together journey through life resting in the strength that our Lord gives us in the midst of our weaknesses. His grace is sufficient.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses,

so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:9
